Dr. Ayaz M. Samadani is past president of the Wisconsin Medical Society, having served on the WMS Board of Directors since 1991. He is a member of the Council on Medical Practice Research and Education and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
He is a the past Board member of the WMS Foundation and founding President of Beaver Dam Scholarship Foundation that provides scholarships to students seeking college and technical education. Dr. Samadani was one of the founding physician members of the International Medical Graduate Section and a past chair of Wisconsin IMG Section.
In addition to his professional society activities, Doctor Samadani
served as Chief of Staff at Beaver Dam Community Hospital, a facility that has been designated as one of the "Top 100 Hospitals in the Nation".
He is the past chair and current member of the Public Health Council of the Department of Health and Family Services, State of Wisconsin.
